An Englishman's home is his castle

One of our favourite places is the fascinating small town of Wirksworth in Derbyshire. It has many narrow streets, a maze of interesting alleyways, a wealth of old buildings and many lovely views. The parish church in the centre of the town is situated in a cathedral-like close.

The Heritage Collection of jewellery is inspired by our love of historic buildings, many pieces based on Derbyshire cottages. It also has examples of the village buildings of other parts of Britain including thatched roofs and tudor beams.

At Angel Eden we have a love of country cottages and enjoy the fact that these dwellings are the work of generations of builders using local materials.

Each piece of jewellery in this collection comes with a paragraph from a short story where we have imagined the story behind the front door.
